Release 2019 #12: Sea Mermaid

It's Mermay!
I've had so much fun designing mermaids this month - even thought I haven't taken part in the official Mermay drawing challenge - I've been wanting to draw a mermaid for such a long time.

I think she's a gorgeous digi stamp which would be wonderful for young girls cards.

We have a lovely selection of cards made by the design team;
Mowbray Design has created this cute scalloped edge rocker/stepper card. She has shaded the digi stamp in using copic pens & matted it onto circle pink scalloped die cut. Stamping a variety of shells & using a coordinating 'Under the Sea' digital papers. Finishing off with the sentiment & lots of glittery crystal drops.

Helen has a created a lovely shaped card - to showcase the New Mermaid Digi. Die cutting the shell digital paper from our 'Under The Sea' paper pack. She has then shaded the digi stamp & die cut it & layered a sparkly glitter over the top. Finishing off with a sentiment & sparkly adhesive gems.

Julianne Has created this wonderful set of mermaid card - showing the digi stamps in a variety of different hair colours and skin tone. Copic markers to shade all Mermaids.
To create the gradient background Julianne has used Distress Oxide Inks, in colours; Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch. To finish silver and blue sequins & Honeybee Stamps Mermaid Song stamp set for the sentiments

For my card I made a easel shaker card. We've shaded our Mermaid in with promarkers & coloured pencils (See our Pinterest for colouring tips). Then using a bright cerise pink and purple cardstock for matt and layering - before adding in our Jelly Fish paper from the 'Under The Sea' paper pack.
Filling the shaker circle with lots of iridescent square sequins & decorating the frame with die cut shells and a tropical fish. Finishing the stepper off with a sentiment, mounted onto a die cut shape & jelly gems.
