Easter Chocolate Box Tutorial

Backing papers are great for setting the scene for any card making project - you can matt and layer with them to create a great base for your card toppers.

But today I'm using them in a different way - why not create a decorative box with those wonderful colourful papers?!

All the papers & embellishments are from our 'Wild In The Woods' CD-ROM

Step 1:
You can either use a box template or buy a handy craft box from your local craft store like I have.

Step 2:
Once you've chosen the paper you would like to work with - measure the top & sides of you box lid. Don't forget to add little side tabs - like I have here. I used a mixture of do crafts Stick It glue & double sided tape to stick my paper to the box. Once you've finished the lid do the same with the bottom half of the box.

Step 3:
Once you've glued your papers to the box it should look like this

Finished Box:
I've added finishing touches to the box with a paper bow & a bunny tag with ribbon. This little box would be great to send Easter chocolates to someone in. If you use different papers you could put jewellery or whatever you want in a decorative box like this. Simple & easy to create!

The papers used in this project are also sold in a separate pack - available from our Etsy Shop. Click Here
